The Rural Center has operated two successful business finance programs for more than a decade.
- The Microenterprise Loan Program provides technical assistance and loans up to $25,000 to help businesses with fewer than 10 employees get started and expand.
- The Capital Access Program provides loans averaging $50,000 to help small and medium-size businesses take advantage of start-up and growth opportunities. The program is operated in partnership with North Carolina banks.
