North Carolina Business Data Sourcebook

Business Data Sourcebook The Rural Center has collected a series of variables that together present a picture of small business activity in North Carolina's 100 counties. Data have been secured from a variety of sources including previously unpublished data from the N.C. Employment Security Commission, the Department of Revenue and the Secretary of State, as well as published data from the U.S. Bureau of the Census and the N.C. Department of Agriculture. The Business Data Sourcebook includes a profile for each of the state's 100 counties as well as for the State of North Carolina, for rural North Carolina (85 counties) and for urban North Carolina (15 counties).
