Emily is the program manager for the NC Rural Center’s leadership training team. In this role, Emily provides supports leadership training programs such as the Rural Economic Development Institute and Homegrown Leaders. Emily also supports efforts to engage the Leadership Alumni Network, connecting the state’s rural leaders to resources, professional development opportunities, and more.
Emily is from High Point, N.C., where she developed her passion for volunteerism and nonprofits. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in nonprofit studies from N.C. State University, and a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University Continuing Studies.
