Patty has called North Carolina home since 1971. She is a graduate of Cary High School and the Office Administrative Course at Wake Technical Community College. Patty came to work at the Rural Center thanks to a desire to give back to the state in remembrance of parents and family raised in Tyrrell County, where their motto is: Honoring Our Past, Designing Our Future. Our future is North Carolina.
As office manager at the Rural Center, Patty helps staff and others from across the state with their meeting needs in the SECU Conference Center. She is responsible for managing all facets of the Rural Center office building and all general office duties. She has experience in ordering supplies, customer service, facilities management, purchasing, and office machinery.
Patty believes it always helps when you like what you have chosen to do in life, but it’s a bonus when you love it.
